1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Dota 2 In-House League Platform (hereinafter "Platform"). By registering and using the Platform, you accept these terms.
The Platform is operated by a private individual from Switzerland and is accessible worldwide. This is a non-commercial fan project.
2. Registration & Account
Registration is exclusively via Steam. By signing in, you grant us access to your public Steam profile data.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country)
- Only one account per person is permitted
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- Sharing login credentials is prohibited
3. Virtual Currency & Betting
The virtual currency ("Coins") on this platform has no real monetary value.
- Coins cannot be purchased with real money
- Coins cannot be exchanged for real money
- Coins have no value outside this platform
- Coins are purely for entertainment purposes
Betting with Coins on match outcomes is purely an entertainment feature and does not constitute gambling in any legal sense.
The operator reserves the right to adjust Coin balances, reset them, or disable the betting feature at any time.
4. Donations
The Platform is supported by voluntary donations. Donations are processed via Stripe.
- Donations are voluntary and not required for platform use
- Donations are used for server and operating costs
- Donations are non-refundable
- Donations do not grant any gameplay advantages
- Donors may receive a cosmetic badge as a thank you
5. Code of Conduct
When using the Platform, the following is prohibited:
- Insulting, discriminating against, or harassing other users
- Cheating, exploits, or unfair gameplay practices
- Match-fixing or intentional losing
- Using multiple accounts (smurfing)
- Manipulating match results or statistics
- Distributing malware or harmful links
- Spam or unwanted advertising
- Violating Valve's Terms of Service for Dota 2
Violations may result in temporary or permanent bans.
6. Leagues & Tournaments
Users can create and manage leagues and tournaments. League creators are responsible for:
- Fair and transparent rules
- Appropriate moderation
- Compliance with these Terms of Service
The Platform operator reserves the right to remove leagues or tournaments that violate these terms.
7. Liability
The Platform is provided "as-is". The operator does not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability of the Platform
- Error-free functionality of all features
- Protection against data loss
- Behavior of other users
Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Intellectual Property
Dota 2 and all related content are property of Valve Corporation. This Platform is an unofficial fan project.
The source code and design of this Platform are property of the operator. User-generated content (team names, league descriptions, etc.) remains the property of the respective users.
9. Termination & Suspension
You can request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.
The operator reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, without compensation.
10. Changes
The operator reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Applicable Law
Swiss law applies, excluding conflict of laws provisions. The place of jurisdiction is the operator's residence in Switzerland, to the extent permitted by law.
For consumers in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence also apply.
